Q1. What is the Bharat Steel Portal?
The Bharat Steel Portal is a comprehensive digital platform developed by MSTC Limited for managing registrations, participation, communication, and logistics for Bharat Steel — India’s premier steel expo and engagement event.

Q2. Who can use the portal?
The portal is open to Exhibitors, Sponsors, Delegates, Visitors, Media, Service Providers, and Staff associated with Bharat Steel. Each category has tailored access and benefits.

Q3. What activities can be done through the portal?
Users can:

  • Register as participants
  • Manage profiles and access roles
  • Receive updates and invitations
  • Schedule meetings and connect with others
  • View event agendas, hall layouts, and participation directories
  • Access official communications, circulars, and resources

 

📝 Registration & Access

Q4. How do I register on the portal?
Click on the "Register" button on the homepage. Fill out your personal and organization details, verify your email via OTP, and submit the form.

Q5. How is access granted after registration?
All users start as Visitors. Based on verification and approval by the event management team, users can upgrade to roles like Exhibitor, Sponsor, etc., through the Upgrade Access section in the dashboard.

Q6. I did not receive my OTP. What should I do?
Please check your spam or promotions folder. If still not received, click “Resend OTP” on the same screen.

Q7. Can I register multiple users under one organization?
Yes. Each user must register individually but can be linked to the same organization by entering the shared organization name and GSTIN during signup.

 

🧩 Participation Roles

Q8. What is the difference between a Visitor, Delegate, and Sponsor?

  • Visitor: General access to exhibitions and sessions.
  • Delegate: Priority seating, workshop entry, and networking rights.
  • Sponsor: Premium branding, directory visibility, and sponsor dashboard with outreach tools.

Q9. How do I upgrade my role?
Navigate to “Upgrade Access” on the dashboard. Submit necessary documents and select your intended category.

Q10. Is there a fee associated with any roles?
Yes. Exhibitor, Sponsor, and Delegate categories require a payment, as defined by the organizing committee. Fees vary by stall size and sponsorship tier.

 

🖥️ Dashboard Features

Q11. What can I see on my dashboard?
Based on your role:

  • Visitors see upgrade prompts and schedules.
  • Exhibitors/Sponsors get access to stall information, meeting tools, and directory.
  • Admins can manage users, content, and schedules.

Q12. What is the Directory feature?
Sponsors and approved users can access a directory of sponsors, delegates, and special guests, including organization names, designations, and contact tools (if enabled). This enables networking and meeting requests.

Q13. How can sponsors schedule meetings?
Sponsors can send invitations to other sponsors or delegates through the Meetings section, accessible via the sponsor dashboard.

 

🔧 Technical Support

Q14. The portal is not loading correctly. What should I do?
Ensure you're using a modern browser (Chrome, Edge, Firefox). Clear your cache or try in incognito mode. If the issue persists, contact support.

Q15. Is my data secure on this portal?
Yes. Bharat Steel Portal is hosted on a secure server, complies with Indian data privacy guidelines, and implements OTP-based verification for all users.

Q16. Can I change my email or registered mobile number?
Currently, email is your unique identifier. For email/mobile changes, please raise a support request via the Helpdesk section in your dashboard.

 

📅 Event & Venue Related

Q17. Where is the Bharat Steel Expo being held?
The Expo is being hosted at Hall 14 (Ground & First Floor), Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. A detailed layout is available under the “Venue Map” section.

Q18. How do I locate my stall?
Post approval, exhibitors will see their stall number and location directly on their dashboard along with a visual hall map.

Q19. Is there a helpdesk at the venue?
Yes, physical helpdesks will be available at key locations, including the registration zone and VIP lounge.
